The M1 PRO shares its DNA with the original M1, but with an all-leather construction and additional insulation. These two small changes add up to big additional warmth by keeping the wind out and more Thinsulate® to keep the heat in. Depending on the conditions you operate in, the M1 PRO may be the perfect choice of glove where dexterity is still critical but additional warmth is demanded.

We often purchase Truck gloves for employee recognition gifts and they are a huge hit amongst our instructors! They are warm, durable, and hold up great in the winter weather!!

Not warm

I really want to like these gloves. I've used them to ski 2x/wk for about 2.5 months of the season. The construction is great but they are not warm. My fingers turn to icicles if the temperature drops below 40. I've even tried wearing an under glove and that still doesn't do much to help my poor fingers. My sub $30 Carhartt gloves have better insulation. I've tried wearing more layers to keep my arms warm and help my hands without success. My recommendation is these are excellent spring skiing gloves, but not good for even a warmer resort like mine in Colorado during Dec-Feb.

Hey Cameron!
Thanks for the feedback.

I always like these oppurtunities to clarify a couple things. First, gloves dont create warmth. They hold it. And, with thousands of other customers who find this glove to be perfectly warm, i would caution anyone reading this feedback to take it with a grain of salt. Regardless of what a different glove may cost, that has nothing to do with how well the glove insulates. And, it has even less to do with the physiology of the human hand and circulation in general. More insulation CAN equal more warmth. But, not if the addtional insulation causes restriction of blood flow. So, point being, the biggest most insulation packed glove could still lead to cold hands if the glove is too tight and blood cant readily travel back and forth from the digits. If you're cold in the M1 Pro at 39 degrees, my take is that you have cold fingers (poor circulation) or you are use to a glove with more insulation and/or a glove that fits differently and allows your hand to stay warmer. Saying that a glove cost $30 is meaningless in terms of if it will be warm or cold. I have heard from hundreds of Hestra users that they love TRUCK more due to x, y, z. It's not a cost issue. It's not even an insulation issue. It's about understanding your own physiology and understanding the construction differences between various gloves.

So, again, for anyone reading this, ask yourself, is this feedback a universal truth? TRUCK gloves are just cold? And, if that's the case, the other feedback that says they're the warmest gloves the customer has used is now false? The answer is clearly that neigther answer is appropirate 100% of the time. You have to know your body. You have to know what your're use to. With that, you will always be able to put on a glove and determine that it's in the right category of insulaiton and design to keep 'your specific' hands warm.

The person who says the M1 Pro is cold is no more correct than the the person who says it's the warmest glove they've worn. The only thing true about those two sentiments is that they are TRUE to the user -- BUT every user is different.

My gloves aren't cold. The right TRUCK glove will keep you perfectly warm. Just need to know which glove that is to make it a fair shake.

Love them

Glad I found Truck gloves! Great bang for you buck. I have worn in Minnesota winters walking the dog for extended periods and the hands stay warm. Though not geared for XC skiing, they work great and keep my hands warm more than traditional XC gloves. My fingers get cold so easily. Anxious to try them downhill skiing when I get out West!

Super Smart design

OK, so I havent written a review on these gloves for awhile and just came back from wearing them for a solid month in -10F to 30F, and staying warm and comfy the whole time. I wont mention the brand but I am a former director in the snowsports glove business with a global brand, I am retired from corp and coach freeride skiing, I can ski in any glove brand I want and any model and these M1 Pro's are my choice. Sure there are lots of great gloves out there but many are designed and engineered to a formula of what stores and sales people want to sell, not neccessarily designed and engineered to what works for you on slope. The Truck M1 Pro is designed and engineered to what works, and leaves out unneccessary features that do not add to the warmth and function of the glove. Thats keeping it simple, so take it from a pro skier and an ex-pro glove competitor, hesitate no longer and get a pair of these and enjoy. Ideal for most weather conditions.
